To A Journey Home Dog Rescue community –
This holiday season, A Journey Home Dog Rescue has been blessed with the most valuable gift of donations from members of our local community. A Journey Home brings dogs up from southern states from over-capacity shelters whose lives are in danger of being euthanized. Our all-volunteer team assists with transportation, vet visits, fundraising, fostering, and finding adoptive homes. As a 100% volunteer, shelterless dog rescue, we rely heavily on the generosity of others to assist us in rescuing and providing care for dogs in need.
Around Thanksgiving, Earthmovers Credit Union donated a large sum of supplies including dog food, potty training pads, disease preventative medication, cleaning items and other supplies. These kinds of everyday needs help us to provide our foster families with the supplies necessary to take in our rescues. This generous donation will aide us in our ability to rescue more dogs in need.
A Journey Home has also been selected as the recipient of Woofbeach Bay dog grooming and training service’s Giving Tree program. Every year, Woofbeach chooses a local dog rescue to sponsor with their Giving Tree program, where clients can pick tags off the tree and donate the supplies listed.
